But is it really surprising? Nope. The Wii has sold well and nobody can argue that but in the end, it was a spurt and will slow down in sales as time goes by but the PS3 is a bit more future proof and still looks appealing to many, even those who own the Wii. Having both you get the best of both worlds.. Waggle world and the HD world.
I have come to the conclusion hat MoOkS is being sarcastic and actually loves Sony. The only other explanation would be that he is truly an idiot and I personally would rather give anybody the benefit of the doubt...
So MoOkS, what is it? Sarcasm? Or idiocy?
But let's take a look here... Reggie, the Ninty COO says the PS3 has challenges and you then compare PSN to Xbox Live? Reaching? If you would have put "IMHO" after al the posts you made here, I would have not bothered but you seem to be a bit bias... to say the least.
= QUOTE OF THE YEAR
Could not have said it better.
MoOks seems to be the epitome of an ignorant fanboy. Sorry, but there are too many holes in his rants thus far for me to believe he has anything constructive to say about Sony. If this was a Sony rep saying these types of things, we would have had a borage of comments saying how arrogant Sony was to even think such things...
From my take on all this, you seem to be a Nintendo fanboy but yet you make a statement like this... I'm trying to see how somebody that would defend Nintendo would benefit from criticizing Sony's online platform... Not making any sense of this right now. Can you clear it up for me? Last I knew, Ninty's online was trash. Any comments?
I know Xbox Live is good but it costs money and the PSN is free. Very few, if any at all, recent releases ont he PSN have had any issues. So, wh...
One cannot stop a steady decline in sales without spurring new sales. In the end, Sony will gain sales due to the price drop and the PS2 will end on a good note in the comming months ahead.
Now, if they really wanted to make the system sell like hot cakes, they should have added some sort of Waggle controller and bundled it with a Wii Sports clone developed by EA.

... Nope.
I'll be getting it but if it never hits the PS3, it will not make a dent in their already awesome line of titles coming this year.
Clearly explains just why these articles and the statements in them are more geared towards investors and thos who like to hear about sales numbers. For those who did not catch the gist of it... These were units sold in North America and in a period of only 30 days. This does not mean that only 500k of them were sold entirely. But then again, who cares, it's a great game and sales do not make games great.
Especially since I don't pay to play the game online as it is. PSN is free so paying a couple bucks for a great game's extra content is no problem. Free content on an MS exclusive online game is a no brainer since we already have to pay to play online with Live.
MAG is more of a prefix and Shadow War is the actual game title. In other words, when Shadow War is over and played out, they will release another MAG game with another title. MAG simply stands for the size and style of game and the true title of the game is the environment and story. They could have a MAG: Future War and make it a space fighter.

I was an avid member of the Xbox forums and how I supported both the 360 and the PS3 and how just because I supported the PS3 as well, I was considered a troll. I remember arguing with some of the guys there about the graphical power of the PS3 versus the 360 and how they aways showed "proof" that the 360 was in fact the most powerful console in terms of graphics. I remember their greatest ammo was multiplatform titles and Gears of War. Two years later I see now who was correct in t...
I would prefer them to put their time and efforts into more DLC than developing a way to make it so players can create online together. That would just be a hassle IMHO.
Trying to figure out if what you are saying is sarcasm or not but it would seem that your post is a bit eluding. What is it that MS released before Sony that would have been something Sony intended to implement sooner? Please tell me you are not talking about Home versus NXE?
Seriousely now, trolling is for silly fanboys. Please, take your comments to the open zone and let us adults chat about such cool news as this Facebook integration into the PS3. I wonder, is this the result of the PS3 browser? I guess if that is the case then the browser idea is not a bad one after all.
It would seem that whoever wrote this article does not have many friends that would be considered true PC gamers. If you know of any, you can attest to their desire for hardware and tinkering and that the love of gaming is second to that of creating and personalizing a rig that not only plays games but looks as they wish.
You would have thought from a Western point of view that Japan would have jumped tot he 360 shortly after they had their Wii fix but nope, they jumpback to what they know is a quality system with few hardware issues. Sony is Japan and Japan loves Sony. Not even a price such as the PS3's can keep the system down.
If MS were smart, they would pull out of Japan and just focus on Europe and NA.
I certainly hope so. For the PSP to sell 10 million units per year sure doesn't seem to bad to me, especially for the price and lack of titles.
And some idiot calls that a failure? Sorry, but the only failure seen here is the article written.
